Stock Trading Tips For Beginners

“Do you have a good stock tips today?” I get this question all the time, but I am never sure how to respond. Nowadays, there are tips for everything. Some people follow those tips to get an edge in their trading journey, some just glance through them. Many of my trading friends have shared their tips in a private room, and I want to share some of their tips with others. Here it goes:

1. Never force a trade. If you miss the trade, don’t chase it. Just wait patiently for the next opportunity.
2. Buy low and sell high.
3. Always have a price target in mind and make sure to act according to those targets.
4. Do not gamble in the stock market, because it’s too risky. Trade by using good technical skills and fundamental knowledge.
5. If the call is too expensive, always consider playing put credit spread if bullish or call credit spread if bearish. Also, you can play iron condor if the market is sideways.
6. A trend is your friend until it bends!
7. Avoid FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) reactions. You need to follow good practices and discipline.
8. Buy high, sell higher.
9. Do not panic on a day-to-day basis.
10. Do not panic sell.
11. Buy stocks on red down days.
12. Sell stocks on green up days.
13. Some of these tips seem obvious but we tend to forget or ignore them in the heat of the moment, while other tips warrant further explanation and discussion at a later time.
